Why Ethical Independence Is the Only Exit Strategy for the AI Economy

The next time a politician tells you America is leading the AI race, ask them to count how many of the country's so-called AI national champions get nervous checking the back of an H100 GPU. When the only strategically vital resource in the industry is controlled by a single company, you have not built an ecosystem; you have built a chokepoint with a shipping label attached.

The Financial Times reported exactly this week that Nvidia is "poised to capitalize" on the expansion of the AI market. That is, to put it bluntly, a short-seller's monograph.
